Privacy policy
In short: this website sets no cookies and doesn’t track what you do. A visit only involves the technical access data needed to deliver the site. Anything more is processed only when you write to us, call us, use the chat or book an appointment.
Please note: this English version of our privacy policy is provided for your convenience. The legally binding version is the German privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung).

In short
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and images are served through our hosting; no connection is made to Google Fonts or similar services, apart from the hosting provider’s script described under “Hosting”. Apart from the technical access data needed to deliver the site, we only process personal data when you write to us, call us, use the chat or book an appointment.
Legal bases
We process personal data on the basis of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), namely: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligations such as retention duties for accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)), and our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), for example in operating this website securely.
Hosting
This website is hosted by StackBlitz, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which uses infrastructure from Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) and Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). Cloudflare delivers the pages through a global network of data centres, usually from a location near you. When you visit the website, access data such as your IP address, the time of access, the page requested and your browser is processed in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.
When serving the pages, our hosting provider automatically adds a script from bolt.new (StackBlitz). Your browser loads it when you open a page, which transmits your IP address to StackBlitz. The script sets no cookies and displays nothing on this website. We have no control over this request.
Data may be transferred to the USA in the process (see “Processors and transfers outside the EU”). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More at stackblitz.com/privacy-policy, netlify.com/privacy and cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Contacting us by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you give us (such as your name, email address, phone number and message) to answer your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps or the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) where your request relates to our services, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply. If you request our e-commerce guide by email, we only use your address to send you the guide and reply to your message. You will not be added to a newsletter.
AI chat assistant on this website
You can choose to chat with an AI assistant on this website. It is labelled as AI, and its answers may contain mistakes. We process the messages you write and the assistant’s replies, a random session ID that only exists in your browser’s memory for the duration of your visit (not a cookie), your ratings of individual answers (thumbs up or down, optionally with a reason), and technical connection data such as your IP address. Please do not enter sensitive data such as health information or passwords in the chat.
- n8n (n8n GmbH, Berlin, Germany) receives the messages, controls the workflow and stores the conversation history. Processing takes place in the EU.
- Supabase (Supabase, Inc., USA) provides the knowledge the assistant answers from. The data is stored in a data centre in the EU.
- Google Cloud Vertex AI (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Ireland) generates the answers. Processing takes place in Frankfurt am Main.
We have data processing agreements with all of these providers. Conversation histories remain in our n8n environment and are stored without names or contact details, only with the random session ID. They contain personal information only if you write it into the chat yourself. We keep them as long as we need them to improve the assistant and delete them afterwards. If you would like your conversation deleted sooner, email patrick@agentovo.net. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions about our services quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); where a specific offer is concerned, pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Booking appointments via Calendly
For the AI readiness check we link to Calendly (Calendly LLC, Atlanta, USA). You only leave our website when you click the link; Calendly’s privacy policy then applies. We receive the details you enter when booking (such as your name, email address, chosen time and your answers to the booking questions) in order to prepare and hold the meeting. Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). More at calendly.com/privacy.
Video calls via Google Meet
We hold the AI readiness check and other meetings via Google Meet (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). This involves processing your name, email address, video and audio during the call, and technical connection data. You can switch off your camera or microphone at any time. Google may also process data in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). More at policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to LinkedIn and other sites
We link to our team’s LinkedIn profiles, among other sites. These are plain links. No data is transferred to LinkedIn or other providers until you click a link; from then on, their privacy policies apply.
Processors and transfers outside the EU
Where service providers process data on our behalf, we have concluded data processing agreements with them (Art. 28 GDPR). Some of our providers are based in the USA (StackBlitz, Netlify, Cloudflare, Calendly, Google, Supabase). Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) or on the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
How long we keep data
We only keep personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and delete it afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations (for example for accounting) require us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, simply email patrick@agentovo.net.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
No automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal effects on you (Art. 22 GDPR). The chat assistant answers questions; it does not decide anything about you.
Do you have to give us data?
No. You can use our website without actively providing any data. Only if you write to us, call us, use the chat or book an appointment do we need the information required for that.
Security
This website is only served over encrypted HTTPS connections (TLS). We also take technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
